Inaugural lecture 2013-2014

Jaume Pagès has a doctorate in Industrial Engineering. He was full professor of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and was vice president and then president of the University for eight years (1994–2002). From 2002 to 2004, he was managing director of the Consortium for the Universal Forum of Cultures - Barcelona 2004.
